5 year manufacturer warranty.

All backpacks come with a 5-year manufacturer warranty against any defects (seams coming undone, etc) This does NOT apply to the ripcord wire.

Returns

You have up to 30 days to return your jacket for a refund. You must email customerservice@theselfdefenseco.com to get a return authorization. DO NOT SEND JACKET BACK TO THE FACTORY. It will not be accepted.

If we discover the product has been damaged from usage or misused in anyway you my not receive a refund or receive a reconditioning and repair charge.

Ballistic Protection Warranty

There is a 3-year warranty on all manufacturing defects (stitching and construction).

If we discover the product has been damaged from usage or misused in anyway you will not be refunded.

5 year ballistic warranty

120 day Outer Jacket Warranty (non ballistic)

You have a 120 day warranty on all outer jackets for any manufacturer defects. We will replace it free of charge. Please email pictures to customerservice@theselfdefenseco.com to get a return authorization. DO NOT SEND JACKET BACK TO THE FACTORY. It will not be accepted.

If we discover the product has been damaged from usage or misused in anyway you will not be refunded.

Cancelling Orders

All clothing is made to order – NO ORDER MAY BE CANCELLED AFTER IT IS PLACE because all clothing is custom made to order. Normal delivery is 2 to 3 weeks but may take longer or shorter depending on the factory.

 

The reason is because the NIJ Certification lasts 5 years (industry standard) and we don’t want to waste that time sitting on the shelf.

 

You may cancel up to 72 hours after you order (7 days a week). Any cancelations may be subject to a cancelation fee depending on the size of the order. To cancel just send an email to bodyguard@theselfdefenseco.com. Include your name and order number.

You may exchange wrong sizes or manufacturer’s defects at no penalty to you by emailing customerservice@theselfdefenseco.com.

There are NO REFUNDS or RETURNS on custom made to fit products.

You the customer take full responsibility if you misuse this product and test it outside of an NIJ certified facility.

You may be seriously INJURED or KILLED if you misuse this product.

Customer assumes ALL risk and responsibility and the Self Defense Company, The Bodyguard Brand it’s suppliers and distributors shall be held harmless if this product were to fail in real world conditions.

Please allow 2 week BREAK IN PERIOD

When you first receive your jacket it WILL BE STIFF.

Please allow the ballistic protection to soften. In order to do that you must wear it.

If the item is damaged in any way you will not receive a refund and we will return the item back to you.

You may return your standard size Bodyguard Jacket or item up to 30 Days after your receive it.
