Yes and no. The system they adopted became coined LINE because of the acronym they adopted (also the army adopted it after). They trained some shadow techniques because of its intent on lethality. Most marines and soldiers I know who did it thought the “shadow” part was hokey and one of the reasons bjj replaced it so quickly. However, I was more generally referring to literally standing in a line and performing air strikes which is also referred to as line training because you stood in a line. This is older, you can find old photos and video that shows it, like WWII/Korea.
