Well the guy in the white shirt is agile.

The good: he took action and was able to keep three people off of him.

The bad: he was sparring.

He obviously boxed at some point in his life and his training did an OK job against a low level threat. Meaning the guys he was fighting couldn’t fight.

He was backing up and striking – this does not enable you to put power and body weight behind your strikes. Now if was looking to escape like in Module 5, he could have. But he wasn’t trained to escape or destroy – he was trained to box.

So he stayed and continued to fight when he could have escaped. This is what sparring instills in us. It trains us to engage and fight over an extended period of time.

He was lucky.
