If your priority is self defense you can supplement with MMA, wrestling or Judo.
Let me ask you, what if Chuck Liddell or Anderson Silva was about to rape your wife or come into your house?
I don’t know about you, but I’m not laying down for anybody and I expect everyone in the SDTS to feel the same way. I don’t care if your king freakin kong, you step to me you better pack a lunch.
In regards to the better than me comment. Any instructor or coach worth a damn HOPES the people he teaches get better than him or her.
You should learn from my mistakes and save a lot of time, energy, money, blood sweat and tears. It took me decades to get the SDTS information together and decades more of the men before me.
Don’t fall for the martial arts BS that the instructor will always be the best in the room. If you train and your honest about it, it’s up to you to take it further and faster.
That might not happen in 12 months, BUT what you learn in 12 months compared to what I learned in 12 months back in the day will be light years ahead.
