      Damn guy makes it into the news more than I do :D !!!

      Here’s the latest from Steve. He’s been an SDC instructor for the last three years in Dubai. Seems rich people need to kick ass too!

      Great article. I liked the notion of the SDTS training following your other workouts, which is what I do; I do my running first. You get a better idea of how useless fine motor skills can be when you drain yourself first.

      I especially like running versus jogging because running engages your muscles in a way that jogging doesn’t. I alternate running and jogging, and I start my last mile with an all-out sprint that I keep trying to increase the duration of. This really burns out the muscles as well as the lungs. Afterwards, I feel like I’m walking on clouds, arm in arm with angels. Not the time for real intricate techniques.

      Absolutely, interval training is the way to go. sometimes I take a long run (6 to 8 miles) but most times its about 3 to 4 with a jog/walk/ sprint interval training.

      Someone said it was actually better for the heart, but I always did it because it replicated combat or combat sport.

      I like the “get rid” of the extraneous movement.

      I always felt that the best training began after you were exhausted.
