Hello Damian, I love the course and the way you go straight to the point. We are a lot a like in many ways. You know I think it might be a good idea to have both you and a female instructor to discuss and demonstrate certain aspects of self defense. This might be more comfortable to women. A new topic you might want to add is workplace violence and prevention. I have many years of management experience, and I would be more than happy to help you put something together. One more thing on another subject; with all of the shooting sprees going on, there is a big opportunity for executive protection. Believe me Damian, I think you would find great success starting a bodyguard school. Another great marketing tool would be for you to write a book on real world self defense while incorporating your own biography. I would be honored to ghost write it for you. I am sorry I wrote so much info, but I want to help out. I look forward to hearing from you. When you get the time, I can go over some more details. Take care.

      Joe,

There’s a lot in there. While ALL self defense is the same for men and women – if it works for someone smaller and weaker, it will definitely work for someone bigger and stronger you’re correct. In the future we hope to have some of our women Instructors be more vocal.

There has been a lot on work place violence. Loren Christensen wrote a pretty good book entitled Violence in the Work Place. We have held corporate training for clients regarding this matter since it is such a big problem. We employ the RUN HIDE FIGHT method. Run is you can, hide if you can’t run and fight if you have to. But YES, this is worth exploring.

Finally, the body guard school….that’s not in our business plan since this would encompass shooting, driving, tactical site planning and all the other aspects from intelligence gathering to investigative work that would not be the best allocation of our resources.

      Damian
