Not every work out, not every promotion is a stellar performance. Even yours truly has literally failed his share of promotion examinations, tests, competitions and scraps a long the way.
The question is, what do you do now? You get back to it, vowing to do a lot better the next opportunity.
If you run, trip and fall, do you question the “art of running?” No, you just get up and do it again.
I have the deepest respect for those of us who choose more than to go to work and go home. Who choose to challenge themselves above and beyond. While the promotion today was punctuated a few decent moments, Will and me just wouldn’t be ourselves if we didn’t let you know what you already know.
In two months we have our next promotion. The work starts now.
