      Stefano,

“Real” training in 5 simple steps:

      1. Join Insider
      2. Get a Brick and a BOB
      3. Beat the HELL out of them (drills)!!!
      4. Rinse
      5. Repeat

      That’s it. Laugh

Agreed with [James Goolsby] get a BOB and a brick and start swinging.

so called real training is nothing more than hitting something… Hard.
You don’t really need a training partner to get started, heck I’m in the works of making a grappling dummy. His name shall be Fred. Lol.

I have to agree with all of the others. Getting the videos will teach you techniques that work, but you will make your training as real as you want it to be. You need to develop self discipline, train and practice the techniques until they become instinct. You need to work with hitting the BOB and condition yourself, and do what it takes to be able to do what you need to do when the Shit Hits the Fan.

I am also from the streets, worked as an inner city paramedic for years, been in my share of confrontations, and training and developing the right habits will do things for you that you could never imagine. In the end we are our best trainers after we learn the skills, it is up to us to practice and use what SDTS has to offer. Good luck.

For most of our training a partner will only slow us down. You want to train full bore and you can’t do that with your buddy, you’ll put him in the hospital or in a box.
