Nothing is shocking.
We dodged a bullet SDC nation. lucky for us the latest broken piece of human being decided just to off himself and waste hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless collective hours of people’s lives by killing himself.
I think a part of the reason you’re seeing more and more of this shit is because of the internet and the “new celebrity.” Now the guy who lights his nuts on fire gets 5.000,000 views and a spot on Tosh instead of just being ignored and regarded as plain old crazy.

People think well I think I’m ready to leave this world but I’m not leaving without going out with a “bang” getting my 15 minutes of fame and taking other people away with me. Fucking dipshit coward pussy ass motherfuckers! Perhaps it is wrong of me to hurl insults about the mentally ill but I’m sorry I have no tolerance for those who harm or kill the innocent regardless of their mental state at the time. Thanks be to God he’s dead before he hurt anybody else and our taxpayer dollars don’t have to pay for his trial, house and feed him in prison, and/or mental health counseling ! To counter the argument of the christian right against abortion incidents like this are the perfect counter argument. As always Damian hope your wife and kids are doing well and not too traumatized by what happened.

We dodged a bullet SDC nation. .Amen to that, brother. This could have been bad. Real bad! My department is going to be issuing assault rifles (AR15/M4) for all the patrol cars. It’s a step in the right direction for sure, but as I always say, “When seconds count, we’re only minutes away!”
As much as dirtbags like this guy keep me employed, truth be told very rarely are we on scene in time to make any kind of difference. By the time a victim calls 911, dispatch gets us rolling, and we arrive on scene, the bad guy is usually gone and we’re left cleaning up the mess and filling out paperwork. Sad to say, but it’s a fact. That is why I am so adamant about the community getting some form of self defense training (I bet you can guess which one I recommend ) I would love just once to respond to a call that required myself and an ambulance NOT because someone was attacked, but because the “victim” flipped the switch, went all SDTS on their ass, and the bus ride to the emergency room is for the perp. Ah… dare to dream!
P.S. [Damian Ross], glad you and your family are safe, my friend. I know this was “just down the road” from you.

Wow I just want to know what is going on in these peoples heads. Hell I’ve hit bottom a couple times in life and never even thought of grabbing my glock and going ballistic with it. I honestly think that some if not most of what’s happening in DC is driving people insane. With cost of insurance skyrocketing people are starting to wonder where their next meal is coming from, hell my insurance is going up $3200 next year and I haven’t even been to a dr in three years. But if I don’t have insurance I’ll just see that $3200 in a fine from our dear government. Thanks Washington.
Some people just need to take one little step back and think especially if you have children. Think about them you need to be there for them, not kill a few ppl then off yourself, you just traumatized your kids as soon as you pulled the trigger. -

[James Goolsby] have your department reach out to the military. They will donate weapons that come out of service.
I learned about this through Dave Grossman. Contact him at hhp://www.killology.com. Tell him I told you ad he will put you in the right direction.

In response to what you said Archie I will admit I’ve had some low points in my life too and a couple of times even almost to the point of suicidal. However, I never actually attempted or even planned to go through with such horrible thoughts because I thought of my family and friends who value my life and the joy I bring to theirs and how much pain and suffering my death would cause them. I also thought that even things are this bad and difficult for me now there are always others around the world who have it a hell of a lot worse than I do so I need to stop wallowing in the mire and start thinking positively and find a way to climb my way back up from the bottom. I also thought about the potential for things to improve in the future and how much good and positive things in this life I would miss out on by leaving this world prematurely. That being said if I ever had of gotten to the point of committing suicide I sure wouldn’t have made a public spectacle of it and I sure as hell wouldn’t take anybody else out of this world with me.

I know we have a few in storage from the days when we had our own SWAT team (ah… the good ol’ days), but I’m not sure if there are enough. I will pass on the info to the appropriate people.
Thanks.
