Hi I am new to this whole thing and have a few questions.
First
How is this program different from The Close Combat program? I heard Chris used to be part of your program and his concepts, techniques, and video backgrounds, etc. look like he is copying the fomat? What are the differences to the program content? He talks a lot about maintaining control of your breathing and how adrenealine affects your ability to react and proform, etc. Does your program address this?Second
If you take the free start up 1st lession, can you still sign up to pay for the program in full for the discount?Third
I have watched sample videos from your program and I understand the philosophy of the direct and simple techniques you apply. What I would like to know is how the techniques you teach will work when you are in a situation facing an advanced and highly trained kempo fighter for example that has very fast rapid fire hand and foot combinations and is highly skilled. How do you defend/attack against highly skilled fighters. Not asking this in reference to sparring or using this in an MMA situation. I’m coming from the self defense approach or having to stop someone like this who is attacking someone I want to protect or there are multiple attackers who are skilled fighters that I now have to face?My last question (for now at least ) is in reference to your business opportunity. I understand that you do not need to be a black belt to successfully learn and use the techniques within your program. However, with committed practice and dedication to learning the program how long does it take on average to become fully proficient with this and do you need to achieve and proform a specific level of knowledge with this before you can become an affiliate trainer/instructor. What is involved with this process and what are the fees? If necessary, do you finance it? What kind of annual earnings are these trainer/instructors able to earn in their 1st and/or 2nd years? I understand business and business start ups and that there is on going support and marketing included. Just want to know the basic guidelines for now. Really like what you have put together and see the real need for your materials and trainers. I would like to pursue the Business Opp.
Thanks and look forward to your responce and future discussions.

I have many of Chris’s DVDs unfortunately and I think he is overpriced. I have his mercenary combatives and the new SSDF course. Also overpriced. There is a lot of similarity with the SDC system but the system in my opinion is better and more functional and also with his claim of just watching his SSDF tapes is all you need to do to ingrain it in you is b.s. In one DVD he even admits that his so-called by the numbers system he “invented” a few years will not really work against a stick or club attack. He does admit when it comes down to it a club or a bat is a club or a bat. The “number” idea goes out the door. You can gain some stuff from the “Captain” but I would stick with Damian’s material as like I said I have a lot of Chri’s stuff and I would give it back if I could.

Dogman, sorry for the wait.

He trained in it for about 12 months. Hey, maybe after 12 months of training you can come out with a set of videos yourself?
His video was shot in my studio.
Yes, the adrenaline surge is covered in training.
Second
If you take the free start up 1st lession, can you still sign up to pay for the program in full for the discount?Yes, you can call or email customer service and or do it online here: https://www.theselfdefenseco.com/customer_service.asp (check out number 2.)
Third:
Once you know how to establish position distance and attack, it’s over. Listen, I’m not going to bullshit you, if you think you’re going to trade punches with anybody you’re in for a long day but if you have the proper attitude and train with even a little intensity, I don’t care who is standing in front of you. Keep in mind, this IS NOT SPARRING.Forth:
It depends on you but we see dramatic results in 90 days and full blown success in 8 to 12 months.
As far as being an instructor, go to https://www.teachselfdefense.com and fill out the form online.
Listen, I am the only one who offers a free trail of anything. There is one reason for that…I can. Plus you can come here, ask questions and continue your training.
I will put our program in the pepsi challenge with any other defensive tactics program out there. And if yo want to compare me to my student who spent more time in judo classed than hand to hand combat, well good luck and thanks for coming.
But to try for free go to https://www.theselfdefenseco.com
