Truth in comedy – the fact remains most people haven’t a clue what to do when threatened with violence. Most of what you understand about fighting is from organized sports and movies. You can imagine what you would do, but until the rubber hits the road – you will never know. The typical plan usually is: “Kick His Ass”, “Kill Him” and any number of other colorful descriptions kids use today.
The truth remains, most people just don’t know what to do and the chances of having to protect yourself in a simple assault is 1 in 117.
Don’t get me started about the “shoot ’em up crowd”. Chances of ever having to protect yourself using a firearm….1 in 20,000.
Get the education, understand how a violent situation develops and learn how to avoid it or practice how to end it.
