Are you an ‘Excuse’ or an ‘Opportunity’?

Which type of person are you?

It’s “resolution time” and I want to ask you, are you an OPPORTUNITY or an EXCUSE?

Because there are really only two types of people…

Those looking for an opportunity and those looking for an excuse.

Opportunity people will do anything to be successful.

I used to drive 2 hours, two to four times a week to learn this system of self defense.

When I couldn’t do that, I created a training area in my house so I could work out on my own.

If I couldn’t purchase a piece of equipment, I made it.

Nothing was going to stand in my way of being the BEST I could be at protecting myself and my loved ones.

Then there are the people looking for an EXCUSE.

They will use any reason NOT TO TRAIN.

“I need to train in person, I don’t have the money, I want a DVD, I don’t have time, I’m too old, I have a gun, I’m too small, too weak, too fat, too stupid, it’s a scam, this is a marketing trick”… whatever the reason, real or imagined, the excuses keep coming.

You know, I have to chuckle when I hear these excuses after what I personally went through to acquire this knowledge.

The truth is, even if I was teaching in their back yard, they would NEVER do it.

Because if it’s not one excuse it will be another…and another and another.

The ‘perfect time’ is now – you’re either an action taker or you’re not.Know this, EVERYONE has the same circumstances as you.You’re not special and your case is not unique.Even if you had an extremely tough situation, I will show you someone who has it worse than you who is taking steps to over come it.

It doesn’t matter if it’s self defense, work, life – whatever – you’re either defeating the obstacle or the obstacle is defeating you.

Everyday you’re either becoming the VICTOR or the VICTIM.

And everyday YOU MAKE THAT CHOICE.

My personal message to those of you who choose not to do anything except make excuses, is “THANK YOU”.

Because for every one of us there are 99 of YOU who will make easy for the predators to find victims.

As long as we prepare, the wolves will find you and leave us alone.
