Thank you for showing me that judo is not a useless form of martial art. That was a bad ass move! I should really take advantage of the free classes they offer at the base gym.
Libby Tard Any actual sport art (judo, MMA, wrestling, boxing, BJJ) isn’t useless, it just takes a long time to master and you need a lot of skill, power, timing and endurance. So to master this throw (drop seoi nage) would take you about to to 3 years. However, you can get the same result with an edge of hand which takes about 10 minutes to learn.
Do the judo, it’s great…but there’s more efficient ways to get the job done.
